I'm not a psychologist by any means, but I'd get things in order at home before you head back out. You don't want that stuff on your mind when you're out and about. Have a long sit down with the wife try to get things figured out. Good luck man.

Done for the day in Kansas City. Load up tomorrow, then running up to Clear Lake, WI for Tues. Red hot down here today. Going to try to gut out a 3-4 mile run. Should be interesting.

You gotta talk to wifey about the bills. Bills is important. Ignore the messy house. You're only in it for 6 days a month. But figure out the bills situation. Or if all else fails, make her forward you the bills and handle the bills yourself. Set a separate account aside for her spending and foods and have everything go through you.

She won't talk with me. I start and it's, "So everything's my fault" and she starts bawling. She's done this for 7 years now. The only way I've managed to make any kind of life with her is eat it, do it myself, and move on. But now I'm so overwhelmed I can't.

All I did today to make her bawl, was try to move a tack board to the hallway, out from our bedroom, so she can more easily use it. We use it to put our monthly bills on, so we can pay them week before due. Nope, she wasn't having it. Bawling and demanding I put it back in bedroom, back on the wall she piles her dirty laundry at, thereby hiding it.

I feel at wits end. I feel like the only responsible adult in the house. I'm actually surprised the kids get fed. That seems the only thing I can count on her for. I can't actually blame her, her parents are functional idiots. Her mom acts the same way she does. So I know her mom taught her this crap. Her dad checks out of reality time to time. No doubt it's stress relief. But I cannot do this much longer.

I figured the bill situation out today. Had to go back and audit the checkbook for last 2 months to get it to balance to bank statement. Was a hassle. Turns out book was overstated by 100.00, cause she didn't record the items I sent her 3 weeks ago. Had enough to pay the shutoffs, and scheduled the phone for Friday, auto pay. Paid daycare too. Only took half my only day off this week. Was supposed to get 1 1/2days off...not this week. 1. I head out in the morning and go to Iowa.

Oh and nearly wiped out my savings to do all this today. Back to square one.

I hate to say it, but sometimes you need to upset your woman to get your point across. I had to do that once, she was upset for a while, she slept on the couch for a couple nights(I wasn't mad at her, I had no problem sleeping with her) and then we were able to talk it out and we both made what needs to happen happen. Need to make her understand the importance of her not doing these things. You need any help, I'll do anything I can.

I feel your pain and understand exactly what you mean. However, the bills get paid by me before any other money is spent. Period! There are somethings you give in too. Somethings, you must wage the war. I do all our bills online so I can pay them anytime and from almost anywhere. No phone service is the only thing that limits me.

Sitting in Franklin, KY at a Marathon on exit 2. 40 miles to my first drop and can not deliver until tomorrow. On the bright side I should get layover pay for sitting so long.

She might be too stressed at home handling everything. Take over the bills and give that a try. My wife struggles from time to time handling things I used to take care of and the kids. Try to lighten her load a bit. If she has a spending problem, then limit her access. Sounds harsh, but you can't let her run the family budget into the ditch either.

Made it home to Ohio about 5 am sat morning after having Hire on crap all day Friday. Little sleep sat night but will be rested up by Wednesday when I am supposed to leave with my trainer. Can't wait to hit the rosd. Except for the missing my family part.
