That's another reason I left its like all the good planners quit and they hired first graders to replace them.
Hellish day today. Stopped by my first stop and their stuff was in the center of the load. So pull the rear lumber tarp, got unstrapped and then after unloading and rearranging I re tarped and took of to final destination. 56 miles away... through narrow 2 lane roads through the mountains of WV. Spent 5 hours there waiting and getting loaded in 107* heat. Folding my 2 lumbers was devastating. Then 181 mile jaunt through the mountains of WV some more sitting at the shipper now. Hours and hours of navigating tight twisties with 9% down hill grades often was very tiring but a ton of fun.
Parked at Con in Qwinn MI Directions suck....park across street from con? Ha. That's a shoulder. Can't believe I gave up a truck stop for a street.
Bunk AC not fixed yet but say they'll route me to a terminal soon. But I know it will then go to dealer under warranty (like last month, same issue) so why not to dealer 1/2 mile from home parking spot? On the bright side I paid for IdleAir at Gateway in St Louis and got reimbursed.
I'll be on route to ROET to pick back up my star. This freightliner has good ac. Maybe they could just route ya there and swap Ahh its probably just a bad relay. My star lost bunk ac 2 weeks ago. Wrote it up with the body work.
Gave Roehl my notice, turning truck in within the next week or so. Got a local paid hourly, OT after 40. Goodbye.
