Roehl Driver Check In Continued

I am in the same boat. Every weekend sitting. I have complained and the answer is always the same. Well freight is slow this weekend. Friday I delivered my load and got assigned 123 empty and 333 load to deliver Monday. I complained and they said they had nothing else. I even said I would haul a van, reefer, or anything they wanted as long as I could be moving and they said there was nothing. I finished a reset Tuesday morning and had plenty of good hours on my clock. It is getting old fast. Been sitting here at consignee since 1400 Saturday. Can not deliver until Monday 0700.

 

I can definitely understand your frustration. I'm not sure what's going on.

 

Rough day.
Late to delv, late to pick up, couldn't delv next load. Almost never made it home.
Had to relay home load in Gary.
Had to bypass I 94 out of Gary for Us 12, then 20.
Problem began with 10 hours on 70 with 550 miles to home. Two loads at begin of day.
Got to Gary with 2 hours on clock. Told they'd relay, but never found anyone.
Told me to drop in yard and try to get home. Big clog on 94 killed my chance. Got within 70 and wife came for me.
Got 3100 miles for week, between two pay periods.
The prodigal truck is back. Sleep was good last night.

enjoying the hell out of the 2014 Kenworth T680 I got assigned to me on Sunday.

In one word, it's awesome

just got my homerun PP for vacation and am looking forward to the 4th at the family camp in Naples, ME.

then plan to be at the house Monday or Tuesday to do some stuff to the ol' Jeep and bring it to a couple local cruise nights.

new ride will get some serious washin' and polishin' as well.

Came through Dodgeville today with a student. Didn't take the truck route. That was fun watching him navigate through town to get to 151.

 

In Dubuque for the night. Got tired of dodging hail and tornadoes.

 

I-70 x41 Cloverdale. Passing tanker doing about 75mph blew the rear trailer tire right next to my door today. Lot of noise, smoke and chunks flying everywhere.
