When the new routing came out the old flatbed Ops Manager was in Gary, so I made my own routing that from Gary to Marshfield that avoided all state highways and interstates and sent it to him. If he would have followed my suggested route he would have been home in only 16.5 hours, I don't know why he chose to go another way.

    Dark Squall Thanks this.

Man. what the hell is going on with Roehl! 5 hours waiting for preplans,no local directions , FM's who don't have a clue, sending you to pre plans and show up to find out that the time was changed and Roehl forgot to up date. No miles, 6 pre loads changed to live . I have been back one month now , and I hate this. Its not just me, I have talked to other drivers and they have the same concerns . What in the world is going on! Home for the week end.

    Stuff going on?
New customers my guess for the lack of directions.
I'm a van driver and one I had this week was a street corner. Go to intersection of x & y basically.
Oh and US Mills in Menasha refused my load. Glorious.
Relayed to Appleton. Got my relay and ran south.

No issues here. Miles are amazing. Hartford, Wi to Trenton, MO, now Harrisonville, MO to San Marcos, TX. Also already got a PP for Monday, Laredo relay to Dallas. Didn't know we even had a yard in Laredo.

I have to say the same! I ran 12 days and averaged 489 miles a day and have a load I picked up in St Cloud in my trailer now to deliver on Tuesday. Miles have real good since switching from weekly to running two weeks so far, again time will tell!

Hey Beedubyah, so if I'm reading you right, it sounds like if I went to Roehl, Dry Van and 2 weeks out is the way to go to get miles and get paid?

More than likely, your options get limited as a dispatcher when drivers need to be home every weekend. Every other isn't too bad, helps if you're a little flexible. Getting loaded through home and making sure you leave with enough time for on time delivery certainly helps.
