Heading to Des Moines IA shut down early enough to plan this load not having to drive til 1 am figuring where to park. Loves in dandridge TN I-40 x412

Shipper says load is nice and light, less than 6k.
Know better as I pull away from dock...cat scale says its 41,500.
Everything checks out but that. How can they be that far off?

 

Ta in ohio.. 76/71 medina area... Made it over geo washington and to boston area fine, now almost to in cons with rtn load. Ok u easties...there are service plazas in conn. What are those stainless boxes next to doors in the back in parking spots..is that a conn idle aite thingy?

 

Yea those are devices that they at one time wanted you to use to provide cooling for the inside of the truck so you didn't have to idle. That's what a fellow trucking buddy told me anyway when I asked him that same question last night. Things look weird with hoses coming from them and outlets. Obviously the idea didn't take off and nobody uses them and idles anyway.

 

I talked to Roehl driver that thought they were great. Cable for tv, ac, I think he said with fi and quiet. But it costs like 20 bucks...

 

Service Plaza MM 366 on the Thruway. Picking up in Marion, NY in the morning and relaying to Oak Creek on Saturday.
