A balloon catheter up nose and down throat. Four tries and it came out.
They kept her awake

Today little one is 100% back to normal.
Personal misadventures today working on my CB.
New antennae.
Got Firestik 2, 4 foot long adjustable.
At first SWR was identical to old broken antannae.
Tuned, tuned, and read up online.
Found an old jeep website that hinted my antannae was to long.
Took adjusting bolt out and slapped red cap on. Keyed up and SWR bottomed at 0.5 on my Cobra LTD. Spoke and it spiked to 2.1.
Old antannae bottomed at 2.1 and spiked to 3 when speaking.
Got a few miles out of tonight's radio check.
Much better than my old antannae.
Just can't make it any taller, or SWR will get out of wack bad enough to make Antannae Warning Light up.

 

TA Richmond. Got the 2nd half of my load rejected by the cons this afternoon. Said they stop receiving at 1400 despite being a 24 hr facility. Say what? Roehl couldn't believe it. Try again in the morning.
