Very sorry to hear this; I used them for every load. Yes, one can use just a regular blank notepad but it means extra time spent and many drivers won't go to the extra trouble.

I thought it was also one mark of a professional outfit to have such a thing. If it helps at least one driver not mess up their pickup or delivery, it's paid for itself. With the turnover and number of new drivers Roehl gets every year, I really wonder whether eliminating these will save more than it costs.

I don't need them. I'm a local driver now. Just throwing in my couple pennies is all.

I meant other company's drivers.. I guess my point is I don't see it as that big of deal.. I can easily find something else to write the pertinent info on.. It's not going to make my job any harder whatsoever.

i brought up the dispatch pads to a few people. These are very helpful, i think especially to new drivers/students like they don't have enough to worry about or keep straight. I think it is a bad choice most likely made by the toilet paper saver nazi who most likely does not know how they are used. Savin some money and savin some trees. I like the option of buying the $3.50 generic ones at the truck stops....not. I would buy the darn things from Roehl if they offered them for $1.06...lol.

Certainteed in L'anse for the night.

Dog tired and cannot drive final two hours of the day.

6 weeks of rebuilding bedroom took a toll. Almost done.
Hoping FM was giving me 100% certain news.
Told me the Midwest Fleet may well get a raise ;)
    Could really use it.
