In Gary, going to VW in Pleasant Prairie. Probably take off tonight and go park at one of the truck stops at xt 333. If need be just go up the road to oak creek. Can't go into VW before 0900.

I now have a completely new under-bunk A/C unit, a tractor rear license plate light (but no plate), a new lower front fascia, new cables from alt to batteries, new wire harness for my Bendix Wingman, and new city horn.

Now, can I PLEASE get a load outta here?!!? :biggrin_25526:

I'd love to just rip that whole wingman system right out.

    KF7WTV Thanks this.

I don't use cruise because of that thing. So no problem there.

I use the cruise all the time but also put my foot on the floor because with 'predictive cruise' the truck will cruise at 65 and attack hills at 68 mph. Like that speed much better, however you have to shut it off or be prepared to get rear ended if; anyone pulls in front of you, you pass under a bridge, signage is near the road, someone is exiting ahead of you, you go under an overpass, there are blacktop strips in the road, it's raining, it's having a bad day. Sounds great doesn't it!?

Yea that thing sucks. I got one of those critical movements incidents or whatever it's called because I was going around a curved ramp with a car next to me. Well the car was a bit ahead of me and when I came around the corner I was pointed at the car for a moment and the stupid cruise sensor jammed on my breaks thinking I was about to hit the car then my qualcomm makes the "oh ####" noise. Waiting for my FM to ask me about it. That's the 3rd time that thing has rammed on the brakes for no reason and scared the crap out of me. It's way too sensitive.

Pilot I-380 Waterloo. Dropping in the morning, then another pp relay to Gary. Love getting a pp before I'm empty. This is probably the worse Plot I've been to. Showers were like small closets.
