It slams on the brakes once every couple days for me (no messages yet) but I'm getting quicker at recognizing what it thinks is impending doom & turning it off...but sometimes it goes off at shadows from overpasses! Flashes the crash symbol on the screen hits the brakes hard for a fraction of a second 'BAM' then releases them. I'm awake!

I had a hard break go off today 10 mins into my trip to find a trailer. I totally forgot I was bobtail. Its amazong how quick the breaks lock up like that. Yep fresh off of vaca and boom explain to the fm that I had my head in my ###.

Heard my rear tires start sliding looked at the qc blinking red at me.

Hence why I don't use cruise. Screw that noise. I used to, but couldn't take that crap anymore.
If you have to keep turning it on and off, what's the flipping point?

Didn't know you could do that. Says it's a stability incident? Had nothing to do with stability. Hard brake if anything. Crazy computer.

It covers both, like going around a corner to fast will make it go off too, saying you are unstable, may roll over.

I wanted to run 30 days with it & 30 without to see if the thing made any mpg improvement as claimed vs not using it. Week to go if my heart can take it, maybe a three week test is enough. It's within .3 mpg vs last month not using it. Then was going to set it at 61 & keep my foot off. Did I see they're asking everyone for better mileage again with that email blast?

Driver you weren't seeing things, more propaganda was sent out about MPGs. I especially love how they posted an article about it on the company website.

Yep with this heat lately, running a/c on higher level, and low miles with sitting more the last few days, the batteries have been draining, so kicks on the autostart. That's going to bring down mpg. I'm still up around 7.8 this month. Never used cruise in this truck either. Never even turned it on.
Notice you don't see mpg notices in spring and fall. Hmmm, maybe because weather is more comfortable? Just sayin.
