Well I am here at the lovely Rexam Beverage in St Paul....puke! Found out today how to tick the unloading guys off...
What did you do? I got to cons in Butler WI one hour before appt and was told 'too early'. No other trucks around and all three docks are empty.
I backed into the coil bay before they were ready and they were pumping out all the aluminum scraps onto the bay floor and I had to clean it up... why do I have to learn the hard way?
I've delivered coils there several times. Had they told you not to come in until they signaled you somehow? In other words, how were you supposed to know they weren't ready for you yet? Just curious for future reference....
Just got a load of aluminum for tomorrow morning out of Russellville KY, going up to a beverage can maker in LaCrosse, WI. I have an idea what beverage might be going in those cans.
I bets it's a liquid. At Oak Creek. Deliver at train yard in the morning go to another 10 miles from there and home.
Yeah, those solid beverages are the worst. I was referring to the kind of beverage commonly produced in La Crosse.
The brewery is still there but it brews a local brand now (City Brewery). The Old Style brand and brewing recipes were bought out by Pabst back in the '90s and it is now brewed in Milwaukee. I drank a lot of Old Style growing up in Oshkosh; it's not bad though I haven't had it in years.
