X 37 I 86 heading to the mother ship for a relay
-
3 notes ago there was a van trl that had the top peeled back and I think one of doors was damaged...
Probably what prompted the message. Was not pretty! -
That was in Gary. I would have hated to be the relay driver that had to deliver that one.
-
Meltom Thanks this.

I'd like to take a moment to remind drivers (especially flatbedders) that we are moving into summer pretty quick and to keep hydrated while securing and tarping loads. Drink and carry lots of water. Especially in direct sunlight and hot steel mills where we have to dress like its a cool fall morning.
This reminder brought to you by an over heated Treefork who made it about 90 miles before succumbing to heat induced headache and nausea followed by puking my guts out today. Stay safe out there folks!TheTank, Meltom, Bayle and 1 other person Thank this. -
on a side note met a brand new driver today that just got his first solo load. He should of still been with his trainer. Helped him out as much as I could, kinda feel bad that he got thrown to the wolves basicly.
-
Treefork Thanks this.
-
Though he is supposed to call if he has issues. Ah well.
-
Hanging out at the Inn in Gary until I get my truck tomorrow. Anxious for that first load, but ready for some home time too.
Treefork Thanks this.
