Roehl Driver Check In

Got my D/H at walmart in main dropped...now sitting in a dock in Saco ME picking up whatever heading to NC...thing is they are not gonna start loading me til tomorrow AM when I was supposed to show up...but at least I will be able to sleep in while they load me...

 

On the road again...finally!!! I got the ok to come back to work on Monday and got picked up today. Heading to Gary to get my new truck. I feel like I haven't worked in a year! I am excited to get out there again.

So I get picked up by a really cool guy named Chris. Cheryl, from on here, is his wife. Hi Cheryl! We got as far as Geneva, OH and stopped for the night. I got a room in a hotel for the night on Roehl. Nice. We hit a nice little diner for dinner and being the cool guy Chris is and knowing I am a little cash poor right now, he picked up the check. Thanks again Chris!

So I got a hot shower and am going to watch a little tube before I hit the sack. I still am not 100% but feeling pretty good. Well just wanted to say hey all, glad to be back!!!

Don't tell me you hit up Mary's Diner in Geneva. They have awesome food but I haven't been back since they added the new sandwiches to menu.

 

Chris is one of the nicer guys out there. Tell him hello for me.

 

I received a pre plan cancellation message today for a pre plan I never saw.

 

We are still experiencing QC issues due to last Friday's meltdown. I've been emailing my FM on my phone as a back up.

Anyway, I'm at the new service plaza on the westside of Ohio Turnpike. Headed to Bethlehem, PA tomorrow.

 

At the Loves in Albert Lea, MN. I got loaded around 1400 and didn't want to hunt for parking spot around Sparta so I just stopped here. I don't have to deliver until 0900 so I will just drive off the 150 miles in the morning.

 

I've lived in that area...you could have parked at the walmart...the movie theater...there are lots of places to park in the area...the Cenex has decent parking plus there is the Martin (not the blue bird one) parking lot that used to be walmart...(then again I do know the area a little better than most..was stationed at Ft. McCoy for a year so I do know lots of places to squeeze a truck into....plus every bar 45 minutes away from the main gate LOL...).
