Still home, driving school bus part time and working at an auto parts store part time. The time with my wife and kids is great, and I just bought a Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 as a project vehicle. I have always wanted a Jeep, but they are just too much money, so I am going to build up a Pathfinder instead. It is so nice to have a life again!!!
BTW this is the first Valentines Day I have gotten to spend with my wife in a LONG time, another of the benefits of not being captive in a big red truck.

Well appleton got scrapped...had to bobtail 100 miles from greenbay to Iron Mountain...partly due to the fact that I needed to get an MT (none in greebay) and the fact that I have a 2 stopper that I have to pick up tomorrow...the only problem is that there are no MTs in the lot was told that there should be one tomorrow...then I have a stop in OH and PA on the 16th...I wanted to go see my kids on the 18th til the 20th in tomah... then I have to be back in Florida by the 3rd for army time.....(I was looking forward to seeing the kids since I haven't seen them since thanksgiving thanks to the wifes antics on christmas....

 

OH and there is NOTHING at the Iron Mountain terminal...I really really needed to do laundry....guess I will have to wait and pay for it at a ta or p lot...

 

At least in Iron Mountian you can use the bathroom at night, in Phoenix the toilets are locked up at night, there is no shower or laundry, or lounge or much of anything. In Columbus Oh for a morning delivery and hoping to get home sometime soon.

 

I am in Bennettsville, SC tonight. I am staying on the property where I just picked up. There were NO truckstops on my route out of here for quite some time and only had an hour to go. The guard at the gate let me pull to the side and stay here tonight. Not happy but there are much worse things so...

Roehl directions got me again today. Left my consignee in North Caroline and directions said 17 North. It was SOUTH!!! Went like 13 plus miles before I realized and could turn around. Made it to my shipper ontime though so screw it.

Crappy cell service here means no Netflix tonight. That sucks because I have no tv and only a netbook with no disc player for a movie. I am surprised this site loaded up at all! Oh well, I will get a good nights sleep I guess. I just wish I had something othe than peanut butter to eat. Once again, I could have nothing and be stuck so...STOP WHINING SHOTS...LOL

got one tire replaced (all they had) and the other patched..... gave my truck a handwash in what they call the wash bay....now she looks pretty again....the bad part is I am still waiting on an MT...I am getting up at 06 to check the yard again (look out the window LOL)...I have a feeling I will be on the MT hunt or the load is going to be late (i was supposed to pick it up tonight but out of hours and no MTs)...

 

He unloaded in Pittsburgh Monday morning, reloaded in Midland PA for Carol Stream IL this morning. He reloaded in Chicago and is in Gary tonight. He's headed for the DC area for Thursday morning, but has to run down to Indy to pick up an injured driver and take him home first.
