sitting at the TA in bloomsbury NJ...I am saddled with the load I tried to deliver this morning...they canceled my preplan to Ajax...and told me to try and deliver monday AM...and to tell my FM on Monday...I told them I am headed to Jersey since there was no where to park that fit the criteria for the Theft sensitive load (the reason I couldn't drop it at the drop yard in Ben Salem)...and the fact no where was there a place to park a flipping truck...everyone had no truck parking signs everywhere... at least I get a 34 hour reset...LOL..

Also after going to bed with a not fully charged HVAC system that shut off 3 hours before I got up, I froze under my covers then found the autostart feature after I got up. Figures. lol

So if I hit that auto start before I go
To bed will the truck start if the power goes out? Is it like null mode on the apu and should I set it when I go home?

Is this the same sensor that automatically applies the brakes if someone cuts in front of you? It seems to me that could be dangerous in slippery conditions?

It does if you are using cruise control. It's not bad because you really shouldn't use cruise in slippery conditions.

Ahh. I didn't realize it was only with the cruise control.

yeah it kicks off the cruise at a certain distance from a target...it will also gently apply brakes if you get too close and don't apply them yourself...but it won't lock them up...(I have been reading up on it) also when its covered in snow and ice it wont let you go to cruise either cause the radar signal won't make it past the ice...it beeps and errors out...but like tree said you shouldn't be using cruise when its greasy out anyway...

The truck will start up on its own for 2 reasons.. It's too cold outside (not sure what the exact temp is, but maybe in the manual) or that you have drained the batteries and they need to be recharged.
FYI... The first couple of times it starts you are gonna freak out! :biggrin_25523: Mine started last night with the normal beep and a little jolt! Thought the truck was taking off!:biggrin_25513:
