Eating in Gary? Or just that horrid bug?

 

sitting at the hook in effingham IL...going to elwood...going to get up tonight and deliver early...(only 3 hours away and a Drop/Hook early OK) ...then see where the load planners send me...

 

Sitting in Maybrook NY, deliver in Waterbury CT in the morning, then home. Gotta get a physical before next Tuesday. Fueled at Gary Sunday, not bad except the clown in front of me was in the terminal for 20 minutes, then came out and fueled. I've ad nice light and long runs this whole trip out, heaviest was 42k out of Adams Mass to L'ANse.

 

Back in Gary for the night. I picked up a relay to take to Green Bay tomorrow but stopping in Appleton in the morning. They are going to fix my window!

Interesting note about dropping relays. I had to change my load assignment after getting here because whoever dropped my original assigned trailer didn't obviously do a pretrip. None and I mean none of the lights worked on the trailer. They picked it up in Saginaw, MI and never reported this issue. I just don't understand why anyone would leave a maintenance issue in a terminal drop yard without reporting it.

 

Yeah, I WANT ONE!!!

 

He's at a rest area somewhere south of Flint MI..heading to Florence WI for tomorrow.
