Roehl Driver Check In

I should have went out today but due me catching a lovely stomach virus my FM had me stay home until tomorrow. Got a one day trip tomorrow from Youngstown to Elkhart, IN. Hopefully this time out will be better than the last 2 times.

 

Sitting at Speedys in Grants, NM just across the AZ/NM state line. Somehow I drove 10 hours today. Don't remember doing that?

 

Well if you get a KW, you enjoy yourself. I drove one for 2 weeks and I was miserable. Nice trucks but not my thing. I dont what kind of system it has but it has a couple of 12V plug ins. I never had a problem with not having enough voltage to start the truck and I ran the bunk heater all night. I was told you can run the bunk heater for 36 hours and the a/c for 10 hours before you have to start the truck.

 

After Neville Island, he reloaded in Brookville PA and is headed to Chicago for tomorrow morning...

 

Still in Ewood waiting on a load. Got to meet dirtydiesel while here so that was pretty cool

 

Rest Area on the 40 in New Mexico. Seconds left on clock when I pulled in. Outragous winds here this evening. In Phoenix tomorrow, Tank wave as you go by me now.

 

I am pulling for ya Notez.....heres to a new truck for ya...you have definately earned it with driving that POS century for awhile....now get to the mother ship and get one...
Still at home....can't sleep worth a ####...deliver to the walmart DC here in town tomorrow am...going to show up early...its a D/H and I could have dropped it when I got to town yesterday...but I wanted time with the kiddos so I sat on it and got a reset in.....and time with the little people..(they grow so fast...and they are always happy to see daddy.....)..... Trust me the bed is packed at night when daddy is home...all 3 want to sleep on me or with me lol......
Hopefully after this delivery I get to the mothershiup to start tugging the reefers around to get a taste and see if I like it.....if I do I will change fleets...just for the expierience.....don't worry you skateboarders...I have no inkilings to do your job...I like staying clean...and comfortable...LOL..

When I pulled Reefers for that week, a long long time ago, it wasn't bad. Only one of my loads was an actual REEFER load, but either way it was a piece of cake. I did have one issue, pulling a reefer with a flatbed truck is not the wisest move. I was 80k on every load.

I'm looking into RGN now. Might see about that world next.

 

sitting in a service plaza in Indiana....still hooked to Van...my FM is taking his sweet time putting me to Reefers.....meh...if I am not switched by next Friday I will just jump head first into the division...

I am headed to Carlisle PA..for a monday morning delivery...meh got plenty of time to get there I could get there tomorrow if I push...but I am going to take my time....I love my routing though...I have to take US322 south to get there cause we know how Roehl hates to pay tolls LOL....
