Picking up at Logan Aluminum and going to Western Intermodal in Chicago for monday.

 

TA in brooksville PA....will go to Carlisle tomorrow.....again i don't deliver til monday...so taking it easy and trying to set myself up for a decent recap so I don't burn all my hours out before I get the chance to recap hours....

 

Ran into my 2nd evo trainer at a shipper yesterday. Kinda crazy for that to happen when im local.

 

Had pretty good week, relayed a load to gatt and got home this morning
For my four day week end ! Got my five year safe driving award in the mail.
Its a very nice wooden plaque with engraving and another hat pin and wallet certificate.
I think its a very nice incentive for safety and I'm glad roehl takes the time and money
To let drivers know safety matters.

 

Sitting in Gary, picked up in Mogadore last night, doesn't deliver till Monday in Stoughton Wi, so I got my coil bunks matched up again, still short two coil pads, none to be had anywhere I have been in the past two weeks. Can't wait to hear a bunch of crap next time I pick up coils and don't have all the equipment. Last trailer I had didn't have enough dunnage for slinkies, had to get "creative". Times must be rough cause we seem to be short a lot of stuff, haven't had all my securement inventory in three weeks.

 

1st congratulations Childerscarl1! Safety is important & I thank you for my family and friends as well. OK then been holed up most of the day at the Flying J on I-65 exit 2 just north of the TN line. Got a p/u in the morning in Nashville going to Auburn, Maine Tuesday am delivery. I see two more Roehl trucks here as well. Ones a FB & the other a van driving a good looking KW.

 

Congrats Childerscarl1 on the award! After 20 years in the Navy and with some of the ops I was involved with I learned real quick the importance of safety. Glad you are out here doing your part and being commended for it. At the TA in Milesburg, PA heading to Nashua, NH with a 3 stop load delivering on Monday, 1 in Nashua and 2 in Albany, NY. Today was a first, while going down the OHTP my trailer got hit by some paintballs.

I know, right. I thought something got kicked up when it happened until I did a walk around at service plaza and saw the 7 blue spots on the trailer. When I mentioned it to maintenance they were like that happens more than you think. Really?? Lol!

 

Sitting at a little LOVES in Webbers Falls, OK. Relay won't be here until tomorrow so I just sit waiting.......
