At the TA in Ann Arbor, MI. Wasted most of my day at two grocery warehouses why the lumpers unloaded my floor load by hand.

Pick up in Kalamazoo in the morning and then onward to Carol Stream. Picking up my new truck tomorrow in Elwood, IL.

Hey guys...im sorry to change the subject, I just had a quick question that I wanted some experienced roehl guys and gals to answer. Its about routing, im in jacksonville fl, and I pick up right off I10 in jacksonville, and there routing has me going these back roads and highways through towns up to I 16 then over to 75. I was just wanting to take 10 to 75 cause im going to atlanta ga, then to elwood cause im going home...wouldn't y'all think 10 to 75 would be better, and can I just take a differnt route, I was looking at the route roehl give me and I would be going through towns and you know there will be red lights, just seems like a pain to me....anyways im sorry to change the subject like I did...my check was dated for Wednesday too, and im sitting off exit 329 below jacksonville at the pilot. Thanks for any input

The way they have you going isn't too bad. Going over to I-75 and going up is about 30 extra miles. Even if it is faster All Roehl cares about is the miles not the time. You could always call and ask your fleet manager if you could go over to 75 and go up.

Now I don't know if I buy that. I rarely don't have service. Unless you mean just sprint service. Sprint's Roaming service is off of Verizon's network so If he wasn't getting service then niether were you (unless Verizon isn't your cell carrier).

Has anyone been to the Georgia Pacific in Big Island, Virginia? I couldn't believe that there is literally only one route you can take to get there and you have to take the same way out. 1 hour of steep hills and curves. Only hit 55 one time on 155. Mostly doing 15-20 going up hills. Glad to be out of there.

depending how far apart the routes are they may never even say anything.
For instance when i would be sent home from mogadore to erie they would route me on 11 north and i would just go 80 to 79. Always less construction and no 55 speed limit. Eventually i stopped getting routed and just went.
If your FM is decent then calling may be best. That way you are not breaking any rules. Also call the fuel/or routing people. They have been ok with changes on occasion.

At the Petro in Portage, WI. Drove overnight to get here. Now I have to try and manage my sleep because I am not leaving here until 0200 to deliver in St. Paul. The plan now is to try and get me to Marshfield or Appleton to get the PM done on the truck. Which is fine with me because I am about of hours anyway.
