Yeah, but I'm on a dedicated account so that shouldn't happen to me.

 

I guess I spoke to soon. My FM assured me that my backhaul was all set because he'd be on vacation starting today. I've been sitting in Shelby, IA with no MT and no load for over an hour now.

 

I've been there several times and yea that is normal...Sry could be worse, could be driving thru Ohio without Air Conditioning in 90 degree weather because even though you have told dispatch that the AC is broke they keep sending you in every direction other than a terminal!!!

 

sitting at the GP sheetrock plant in FT dodge waiting to get loaded....I don't think I am going to make it very far if they don't jump to it......going to menards DC in Eau Clair...

Just got in trouble for asking the customer when they were going to start on me...LOL they sent an email to my FM I guess....the problem is I am a VAN getting loaded in a FLATBED shipper...so I am away from main docks and in a RECIEVING door...plus sat here for over 3 hours without any acknowlegement of me being here
...I just wanted to make sure I didn't get forgotten about.....Oh well...sucks to be me...

 

Got a load picking up in Ottumwa to pick up this afternoon. I called the customer to get directions and was told they stop loading at 1500 and I wouldn't be there until about 1530. So I will pick up in the morning, then take it to Gary to relay. Then probably head home for the weekend.

Oh and I have one of the new 65 trailers. The paint smell is enough to get you high...LOL!
