a flying j off I35...food was excellent in the cafe.... its weird...when I asked when they were going to get to me they started on me 15 minutes later and then got me loaded ASAP.....
I talked to the Loader and apologized if I came across too gruff...he said no problem..he didn't care..it was his boss who's thinned skinned...plus he said they completely forgot that I was back thereHe said it happens a lot with the van drivers that come in cause we are out of sight out of mind and the Flatbeds never stop coming in to get loaded....

Came inside rest area for a bit. Big old storm outside had my truck rockin. Weather alert says 60mph gusts and quarter sized hail.
-
Oh noes tree...your gonna get dents in your shiney new truck!! I have been lucky...I have missed all the bad weather...I have always been somewhere else...so hopefully keep up my luck
-
Last time out BC I'm 14/7 I was in misery (mo) at a truck stop and parked in the back. Went to eat, as soon as I walked out sounded like big drops where starting to fall. I ran and got pelted by hail all the way to the truck. My Columbia appreciated the massage. Picked up in cedartown GA for a 2 stop in NC one being at a air force base. Hope I see cool stuff while there. Its home to a fighter and refueler squadron.

you may see airplanes on the tarmac @ the commerical gate but thats about it...oh and you truck is going to get searched...with a dog...so if you got anything funky...better ditch it cause they WILL find it.... but more than likely your going to some office or warehouse on base (let me guess its a HON load)..
-
Yeah Hon it is. I figured they wouldn't let me in. Search is ok I'm good there. As long as I get in and out fairly easy I'm happy I gotta pick up a plt in the same town and head to east St Louis tomorrow so I need to knock some miles out tomorrow since it'll be my 2nd stop and the clock will be tickin
