Well its time to come out tomorrow. Got a pre plan to Milwaukee. The bad part about this time out is I have to be back by the night of the 25th because I have been signed up for the security watch in Mogadore for Memorial Day weekend. Oh well its $150 a day. Its probably better than trying to run that weekend with the way miles have been lately. Of course I told my FM that I will need to run hard and eat up my 70 because I will have to do a reset to cover the 36 hours needed for that weekend. We will see how that goes.

Picked up in Prosperity, SC yesterday afternoon. Ran down to the truck stop to scale and slide the tandems on this flatbed...sucks. Ended up locking the keys in the truck. Then one of the maintenance guys tells me to get a screw driver and try to pry the wing window open. It opened alright, shattered into thousands of little pieces. So after I stopped the bleeding and swept up the glass on the ground I headed down to the closest rest area to shut down. Left there this morning at 0315 and delivered at Lowes in Washington Court House, OH at 1230. When I finished up I had 2.5 hours left to work for the day and 4 on my 70. Told me to head to the truck stop to reset. Then I got a message on the qualcomm, pull over and call me. Go to Precision Strip in Middletown and get this load. We'll relay it at the shipper. Just now finished tarping and I'm definitely ready to call it a day.

Got stuck at my customer today. Wrecker pulled me out and a city cop blocked traffic so I could back I'm the right way lol

20 minutes after I get pulled out and start being unloaded another truck tried turning around in that same gravel lot and he got stuck worse. He bottomed out on his oil pan.

Oops. The city and the wrecker probably have a deal, they won't post signs warning trucks as long as wrecker splits $$. lol

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.
