I was through Gary around Noon and I agree, there are alot of everything parked out there. Three rows deep of bobtails from what I saw! Glad I was just passing through to get fuel.

I got my delivery done tonight at the Meijer in Lansing, MI and now I'm spending the night in the "Bullpen" lot at Meijer. I don't have a preplan and I figure with tomorrow being a holiday, I might be sitting here for most of the day. Oh well. I got 1255 miles since Saturday morning. I need a break!

 

still chilling in gary with no preplan...I wish they would have just sent me home...I originally had a preplan from mass to home...but it got canceled in liu of this one that only brought me to gary...oh well..

 

Still in gary....went to wash the truck but the washbay is down.....supposed to be home tomorrow but i still dont have a load on me aand i even qcd dispatchh to see if there was anything available....grrrrrr...

 

I haven't asked about a load yet. I really don't want a reset in the parking lot of a grocery warehouse. My battery pack won't last another day without driving and it's going to get hot and humid later today. Grrrr. I guess I'll be the "high maintenance" driver and call and bug them about a load.

 

I just got a pre plan to pick up a relay in Gary today ay noon and deliver it tomorrow morning in Pleasant Praire, WI. That works for me. At least I'm moving. I'm waiting for the actual load assignment now before I take off driving.

 

Sitting in a rest area between Louisville and Lexington, been here since Saturday afternoon, think i am getting bed sores from all the sitting lalely.

 

In Alabama waiting for tomorrow. I'm surprised big time by these battery packs. I turned on the auto start and all night last night the ac was on full blast and the truck didn't start up till this morning. It ran for an hour then shut off. It's been off since 7. These battery packs really do a good job as long as you keep the middle curtain closed.

Its 94* outside so when the truck starts up and idles I ain't worried about over idle time. Its too hot lol. Its nice and cool, about 70 in my sleeper now

Delivered in St Joseph mo this morning got a live load in spring hill KS going to beaver dam wi for Wednesday. Probably deliver early and try to shoot over to Appleton. My truck leaks coolant enough to puddle since I've been out. Just tried to avoid Gary at all cost to get it fixed.
