Roehl Driver Check In

Still in Gary...called and inquired about a load...NOTHING...so here I sit....I am supposed to be home tomorrow (did I already say that)......
Got a phone call from home...the wife is sick as a dog...makes me not want to go home in case I get sick...but she needs me to help take care of little people for a day or two........

Sitting at Mr. Fuel in Indianapolis bound for Hamilton, OH in the morning. Dash A/C died around Lafayette today and its 94. I'll be in Appleton on Wednesday so hopefully I don't melt before then.

 

got a load butnit picks up tomorrow and delivers early morning on the 30th.....I understand i am leaving soon...and i am not top priority but this is ridiculous....on top of that i didnt get a load until i asked to deadhead from gary to home....figured i get paid the same regardless if i am sitting at home or here in the yard i am still sitting but at least i a, at home with my kids....

 

I finally finished that riduculous security watch this evening. I am definetly going to ask my FM why her only 2 14/7 drivers had to cover the whole weekend. I did meet quite a few drivers. Top subjects.....not enough miles, getting home late and communication issues. The other driver has to take the Pro Star in our rotation to the International dealer tomorrow because the alternator is going bad.

 

Well, I usually have to get up and run hard in the mornings. Today, I'm 2 miles from Volkswagon in Pleasant Prairie, WI and the appointment is set for 11 am. I think I will go over there around 8 am and see if they will take it early.

 

Haha I wonder how you figured out which truck was mine. I'll tell you I do like the APU and having a condo isn't bad either.

To bad Roehl doesn't have those nifty steel hauler trailers that would be pretty nice.

 

Looks like I'm gonna relay this load in Gary and get my a/c fixed. Wish me luck that it doesn't take forever!
