I've tried that. They kick you out. I used to hang out at the McDonalds with truck parking off 169. It is only a couple miles away.

Oh I know that message..... Yeah I can't count the number of times I've been loaded way early... Just be polite about it and don't be to upset of they say come back... You could also call the place...

I guess its safe to say that I'm leaving Roehl since I put in my notice this morning. Roehl has been good to me but I feel its time to move on to a company with less micro-management and more money. FM seemed to understand my reasons and I was surprised that they didn't counter offer me anything.

Anyway, at the Appleton terminal tonight.

At the cons getting unloaded. I got a pre plan while I was asleep. I thought I would have went to somewhere in Albany area but I get to make the 226 mile run to Jersey and pick up a pre loaded trailer and take it to Jimmie Johnson in North Vernon, IN. The delivery is Friday but the time is TBD. She told the planner 1400 but we are going to discuss options in the morning and the set the time. On another note I will continue to stick it out with Roehl. My FM and I get into it sometimes but she doesnt micro manage me. As long as I keep making my deliveries on time she lets me run how I want to, no questions asked.

Too bad, they'll leave the door open for you. I'm not surprised to see many of you leaving. In an industry with an 89% turnover it's a surprise this online group hasn't went different ways long before this. I do hope you will all continue to check in on this thread. It's more about our collective group anymore to me, than it is a Roehl check in.

    notezbngrn71 Thanks this.

of course tree... I will always pop in.....after all y'all were the ones that convinced me to come to Roehl anyway.....

Right now I am at everyones favorite terminal.....Gary...dropped my relay..hoping for load home tomorrow so i can strip the truck of ALL my stuff and give them a clean truck in marshfield......

The reason Roehl didn't counter was because they have 6 NOOBs graduating on friday in marshfield that need trucks......(apologies to new guys if i offend I am just stating the obvious)

but i am lookinng forward to less micromanagement and second guessing from an office...

The good news is when they got to Gwinn MI tonight, they got unloaded instead of waiting till morning...The bad news is they picked up a piece of something in the parking lot and now have an almost flat drive tire. Instead of unloading in the am, they will be waiting on the repair truck.
