I'm all set to turn in the truck at Gary tomorrow. Was originally told "they'd look into it." I wasn't sure what that meant since its ultimately my decision, not theirs. Anyway, they came through and sent me a preplan that gets me back to Gary tomorrow afternoon.
Mic Thanks this. -
Sitting in Troy, IL for the night.

I was in Appleton last nite, two down from Notez, but it was late, like 10pm when I got there, thought I was the reefer board LOL. I will be here a while longer, till a find the right company to go to, unless they try to keep me out past next Tuesday, HAVE to be home, daughter FINALLY getting married. Last time I drove in the 90's my wife picked me up in Detriot when that company told me I had to cancel vacation because it no longer worked well for them. I like my FM, never micro manages, compliments good work, and apologizes for office errors, it is just the messed up loads, I am under another one now. I guess it is a company wide issue from what you guys are saying, and I agree, I thought the problem seemed like trying to grow too big too fast. Good luck to everyone leaving, I will be following shortly.

Mic, did I ever tell you how since I started at my new job we've improved by 17% on our fatigued driving score? Yeah, that's pretty awesome, and new truck galore. Forget where ever you're going and swing down my way it's the greatest. Worried about mirco-managing? We've identified one of our weakness as "manager not managing", so no need to worry about that! Plus we're not so strict on when you violate the HOS, we recognize that stuff happens. C'mon you know you know you want to do it! Well actually I was talking to another company about their transition to eLogs and they're going to offer anyone who switches in the first 30 days $1000. So you should look into that company, they must be swimming in it.

Nope I'm just a lowly safety guy, I don't even have a job title...yet I manage people. People with much more experience than me. I attribute my success to what I learned at Roehl. Mostly what to do, but there were a few things I learned not to do. Granted if I were at a carrier that had more structure I'm sure some of the things I've said and or done may have landed me in hot water, but it's a comfortable environment where you can speak your mind. There are days I hate it, and days I don't it.....so again I've forgotten what I was typing, but when you stop by let me know and I'll get you a hat or a pen or something.
Mic Thanks this. -
cool i like swag-......lol
