Ya I remember when they had me drop my flat in Kaukauna and bobtail over to New London to get my first curtainside load. It was winter and dark and I was fumbling around for a couple of hours with it. That was one of those old style Utility trailers. I don't know if Roehl still has those green curtainsides, but those things suck. The new curtains are pretty slick and once you get a system down they are fast. The new ones can be opened from both ends and are great for multiple stops.

Yeah I saw a green one today in Gary. I'm with Ethan, I'd rather tarp than screw with a curtain, I hate them.

i don't understand the advantage of a curtain over a conestoga.

    is it just price?

but you can load with a crane. i don't know of anything a curtain can do that a conestoga couldn't do better.

At least with the old green curtains, you can put the winches where you need them, unlike most of the red ones with 3 fixed at the front and a handful fixed over the tandems.

Relay... I would agree, but the 3 1/2 days was only suppose to be 2 days. Roehl in their brilliance, got me home a day an a half early from what I requested. So it was a REALLY low miles week. Any money I can get to make up i need to at this point.

At the TA in Illinois exit 1a on 94. Getting a mudflap replaced on the curtain side. Looking at lantern's truck, thinking about waking him up with some fire crackers.....in his fuel tank.......yup.

Haha yeah, we teamed up through Chicago, got through without having to slow down and it only took about an hour. We're at Gary and he's getting his pipes fixed again. Some wood broke and the pipes shifted. Their doing a fix on it by adding some wood to support the pipe.

I'm just chillin waiting on them then him and I are gonna ride down 65
