Oh I've got the backing thing down. I'm just sick of getting fat (gained 20 lbs) and all the stupid places van drivers go to with retarded appointment times.

Eff lumpers too though. I went somewhere they said I had to pay for a lumper unless I was going to unload the truck myself. I unloaded that truck with a hand jack in 45 minutes. I think I got out faster than I would have in fact. Faster than the first time.

I gotta get back on a flatbed, going to go crazy.

I would pick Roehl...you will run solo after a bit....plus you'll get more $$ per mile....plus you have the option of changing divisions....If I had to start again I would pick Roehl again...

depending on the division and freight levels...at the peak I avg. 2500-3k a week on the Van fleet...on the low end when I went to the reefer division (they don't have it in Florida) I got around 1800-2k..... if I remember right the lowest I got on the Van fleet was 2300....They keep the Vans and flats pretty busy...but I would steer away from the reefer division...Drty and Lantern both started in Van...then recently went to the flatbed division...me I moved on to a straight reefer company...but if I did it all over again..I would definately do Roehl again...

Its weird how things click and your like why cant I run like this all the time I go out. On top of that if you could things would be more efficient for everyone. When I switched from 14/7 to national I kept my same fleet manager so bad info and hit or miss planning to me its the same. Sometimes I blow through a week and others seems like it takes forever.

And Ethan you hug that step deck and say to it "you complete me" after the so dreadful van runs? lol

Awesome! The guy from Stevens has about 8 minutes left, I think Roehl is going to be my choice thanks for the info, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Yeah, I saw 3 flats and one step. I had to put the step back and grab a flat for this load though

I'm so happy I'm under a flat again. I don't miss van at all!!!!

I'll post a chart showing all my miles, daily, weekly, and per trip

    Just gotta wait till tomorrow.

please be patient with my attachments. I have a small computer screen on my laptop so i cant post big pics like my desktop.

the following two photos will be of my fuel mileage tracking

    fuel 1.jpg
    fuel 2.jpg

the next three photos will be my miles for august

    miles 1.jpg
    miles 2.jpg
    miles 3.jpg

this is all raw data, meaning it is not actual paid miles, all miles include unpaid also such as deadheading home or driving detours and such. The fuel economy is actual though, can't really fool that lol
