Lantern, sounds like the flats are the way to go....... How much tarping do you do in the "Frozen Tundra" and how much fun is that?

I had a instructor at school tell me how to practice folding a tarp in the winter......He said go down to Home Depot and get a 4'x8' sheet of 3/4' plywood and practice folding it at least once a day for a month.Lol

lol, not as bad as that, but they do tend to fold harder in winter. I've never had issues getting them to fit in box though.

No, I was just trying to save my hours. And any time your in the sleeper log it as sleeper berth, that is legal.

I don't split log unless I have too in order to make an appt on time. Roehl doesn't like us to split log because a lot of people don't know how to use it properly.

You have to be in sleeper for 8 hours before it does anything. Then after that you only get back the drive time that you didn't use from your last segment.

    Its very complicated sometimes.

Yeah I know, we went over it in log book class at school(roadmaster) the instructor told us like you just said, It's not popular and complicated, but legal.

Sitting at the pisslot i mean pilot in lincoln, al. The lot here is pretty tighg. Iv watched 3 different trucks try to park in the spot across from me. Iv had blow the air horn at each of those trucks to save my hood... I wouldnt be suprised if i get woken up in the middle of the night having to take pictures of the front end before i get outta here.....

On another note, headed to hotlanta in the am and then to elwood... Hopfully maint wont take forever and a day, n i can get routed towards home in the next couple days...... O well that was my stab at wishful thinking. Dam rednecks. Lol
