Depends who you ask. Flatbed drivers pulling vans for instance make .03 cents less per mile to do so. For me, little bit of "not right in the head flatbed pride" and the paycut.

I didn't want it bc it's a pain in the ### not worth the hassle really of long unload times, tight Chicago con, lumpers, washing the trl out in 50 degree weather and it was 279 miles. 2 cents a mile extra to me wasn't worth it. But I did anyway. Drty didn't want to pull a van bc flatbedders take a pay cut pulling van

It sounds like to me the new "Pay" deal puys you all in a screwed up deal, If they send it to you over the Qual you have to take it, even if its less pay per mile, Then you take the chance of missing out on good run with a flat that pays good money, without the wait at the con.......RAW DEAL...Sorry.

I will not pull anything other then a flat...

Unless I have no choice. Which then if that is the only load versus sitting for a couple of days then so be it. Only issue with a mid roof with no air dome is aerodynamics so.. I'll come across that bridge when it comes..

Got a load as a company man while trucks in the shop. Taking a load of racks on a reg flat to Fargo ND. #### already shifted on me. Thank god it wasn't anything bad. Luckily I'm only going 9 more miles.

Exit 348 Petro Fargo ND. Iron... Skillet.............. TIME!

Holy crap I wish I wouldn't of read your post because now.. I'm pissed!
