A pencil pusher?!!???? How dare you! Just kidding, if that is what pays the bills then hell I'd do it to. But see me being a dispatcher, I would be the most awesomeness.

Thanks for calling Applebee's, how may I take your order?

Driver: what the hell.. This is the Roehl line.

Me: sorry, Im new. What can I do for you?

Driver: (giggles) Ok well I need my appointment changed.

Me: Well sorry bub this is night dispatch. We do no such thing at all.

Driver: (now upset) isn't that your ##### job?

Me: why yes, yes it is. But isn't it your job to make it on time?

Driver: y'all are the one who have me 10 hours for 2750 miles how dumb can you be.

Me: I'm eating ravioli right now, so sir I cant be that dumb. Good day. (click)

What is up with these birdz. Few weeks ago had a bird try to out run the truck, Nope didnt make it splattered on the windshield. This morning an Owl swooped down and landed on the highway right in front of me. Im not swerving and causeing an accident so unfortunately squish. Made a sickening squishy sound. 77k lbs of metal make a great meat tenderlizer. Poor bird guess he was suicidal

First off working in the office is awesome! You get to tell drivers what to do, they wont listen to you but you can tell them what to do. 90% of the information you get from customer service is wrong, so don't worry about your drivers not listening to you. Just make sure dude isn't taking a 14 hour break, or 5 days of home time after 10 days out. The rest is simple point A to point B. Well you know unless you have like a 12 stopper. I miss Christmas trees, those were always fun and driver unload. Closetmaid was an awesome account. The best thing to do was to pick up in FL, then relay to ROETSP (or whatever the hell it is in now in MN) and let some other dude have to deliver the 14 stops between Minneapolis and Fargo.

So this morning was a awesome morning....

I woke up and played on the forums alittle bit (woke up a hour before needing to leave for my epic 9 mile journey) well when I decided at the last minute I would nicely head on and be right on time. So I open my curtains of epic portions and realize I have a oversize blocking me in.

Lol, ok knock knock mofo. Well after a few "vulgar" words he kindly moved after 15 minutes and let me out then I realized I'm on E. ok so after fueling up 50 gals, it caused me to be 15 minutes late to a all day window (still had 14 hours before window was over).

Well once I arrived I pulled into a really tight door meant only for fork lifts (this is a dry box warehouse). I had tarped steel racks for pallets to be placed on. So I nicely and erracticly yanked these older then dirt tarps off and pulled off a steel tarp.

I go to fold the steel tarp and realize one side had no corners.. It's a rounded end tarp. So after being baffled at such a sight I poorly roll up that tarp and scooby doo'd it back to the petro I stayed at. Jeff calls me and let's me know Betsy #2 will be done tomorrow after noon but can't finalize paperwork up til monday morning.

So call mister Bob becker who is a great guy and kindly let him know. He says ok.

That you see, is how my morning went. So not bad at all.
