Dang coopnp. Good times for sure.
Night #2 in my new truck.
I show ready with fresh 70 at 7am in the morning. Got laundry done, and ate decently while I could. Bought the shop some lunch because those fellas deserve it.
Hopefully my first load is decent, this dagnabit qualcomm won't let me login for some reason. It kicks me out over and over again. It's irritating me because I left myself in off duty status... Which isn't a huge deal.. Since I think I've spent MAYBE 7 hours actually sitting / sleeping in the truck. Otherwise I've been busy as a lot lizard on a Monday night.

How long were you gone? I left 2 months ago and the grass is actually a little browner. I have that thought of going back. Just didn't like the bs of trying to get home after 3 weeks out. Usually 2 or 3 days late getting home and trying to get me back out 2 days later. My last home time with them I told them I HAD to be home no later than a Saturday (with 2 weeks notice) and I still didn't get home until Monday. Then when I gave 2 weeks notice they let me know a week later to unload my truck...go figure.

Routing to Ohio went right through home so I got to eat dinner, do a load of laundry and shower and see the wife and kiddos for a bit tonight. Nice midweek refresh.

I saw two Roehl flatbed's today. One empty heading north on 151 near Platteville, WI and one loaded headed east on US 20 just outside of East Dubuque, IL. Fun day to day, we took rides in the truck and recreated hard braking events, working in safety is the best

Busy week so far. Mon unload near Philly, load in Philly. Tue unload near Pitt, load near Cleveland. Today unload near Chicago, load in Gary. Now near Indy on my way to G-town, KY. My trainer from this past winter was at the same shipper today and we are convoying to the same location. Pretty cool. Can't believe how fast the shippers and consignees have been for my last few loads. The shipper in Bedford Heights, OH really seems to have their act together. And the Gary, IN steel mill had me loaded within 20 mins of my arrival.
Treefork Thanks this. -
Mel don't forget false hard braking...IE wheel skips because of some of these rough ### roads when you brake in bobtail will sometimes cause the monitored wheel to stop fast enough for it to trigger...also on slick surfaces such as Ice, snow, wet road, or even gravel and sand may cause a false event....so be nice...
