At a Moutain Energy Shell in Naples, NC. The book said XL. Maybe an XL P-Lot, holds 20 trucks. Maybe they got some other spot to park at. The good thing is there is a Bojangles next door. I actually saw another Roehl truck on US-25E today. I thought I was the only one that gets stuck running that road. I already got a pre plan for Monday. Knowing my luck, I will probably be going to that Graphic Packaging across the street from where I am delivering so I can haul some of that lovely heavy *** paper to Wausau.

do you still have your permits, perpetual? i'm curious as to what they said regarding weights. i had a new model grapple, a very large one, over 80K, and 43-44,000 on the tandems.
my tennessee permit specifically stated that tennessee's 20,000 pound limit per axle was not waived and over 20,000 pounds was not legal, but from your post i'm guessing your tandems were at 38,000, which would be fine.
roehl weekend dispatch told me that they were aware of the violation, which was why i was routed around the scale.
the reason i was given was that "tennessee would not permit a load over 20,000 pounds on an axle, and so there was no choice but to run illegally around the scales, and this was supposed to have been discussed with me beforehand . . . " -
PA TA xit5 don't even remember the name of the town lol. Heading to the land of bad accents Boston. Routing was good its going to take me around dc and Baltimore not the I-95 way thank god. Crossing over the Tapanzee. Heading out early to get close haven't looked for parking yet near there I'm sure there's little.

If so I've got a tarped load across from you diagonally. There's a silver roehl prostar hauling one of those overweight cat things. There's also a Roehl curtainsider parked in front of me haha

no, i'm on hometime.
that cat grapple has been the only time roehl has ever asked me to do something illegal. -
Yeah that's freaking dumb...
