I check in too, never drove there and haven't worked there in 2 years. I just like to harass people, mostly because nobody would hit Bill for me.

To be fair there was 2.5 years in between my first and second time, and really I shouldn't have left again, but if I hadn't I would probably still be searching for another job instead of being strangely content like I am now. :)

Well tree fork have a good date, my daughter is a fire cracker and to get away for sometime with the ol lady is better than nothing and being away seems like I cherish it more and relax more when a nice dinner just the two of us is in order without worrying about my daughter acting a fool or not causing a scene. My daughters awesome and love her to death but also can get into a funk and ruin a time out. And with 5 kids....go out and have some fun or whatever y'all do to get away lol. Skyviper have a nice anniversary.

I completely understand. My time at other companies helped me see that I fit in at Roehl much better than others. I'm content with Roehl now as well.

Thanks! After tomorrow and for the next few days, I'm going to forget all about the truck and just relax with the wife. (There is going to be 14 inches of snow Saturday, so it will be a cozy weekend!) :biggrin_25525:

All I can say is burr!!! It was 27 in NY this morning. First time I saw snow I was 30 yrs old me and the ol lady went to Tahoe for snowboarding. And then a nice dose of it last year my first couple months solo driving in it. Last year wasn't that bad but when it doesn't snow in fl cold weather is the pits. I got used to it last year so by the time I went home and it was 50-60 degrees I was like this is nothing after it being 10 in Gary and low teens in Ohio. Have a nice time off now that I've been here a year and acquired vacation time I need to get away as well.

They just said they have the right to search my electronic devices. I asked the lady if she thought I was trying to smuggle a canadian into the country in my cellphone and she said she wouldn't know until she checked my phones. If I had to guess I'd say they're probably trying to catch terrorists though. They also seemed to think it was odd that I choose to have three cellphones and I am sure that aroused some suspicion. The only thing I know for sure is that I'm letting Roehl know that I'm not going to Canada again. They don't pay enough for me to be treated like a criminal.

I wouldn't have let them search my laptop or phone....I would say no politely at first....then it would eventually escalate to #### off......cause I have the right under the 4th amendment to be secure in my documents and person from search and seizure without a warrant.......but they can make it uncomfortable for you....I would have told them arrest me...then sued the pants off of them for unlawful arrest....buuuuuttttt there is the NDAA that basically says we as citizens can be arrested without charge and held indefinately....which is complete ########....we have become a police state......but I digress before the modorater kicks me off and sends me to the political side...I wouldn't go back either...I usually had no problems crossing the border.....but am thankful that we don't do that here at this company...well not much maybe 1 or 2 loads a year.......but the east coast guys run them for us...
