Roehl Driver Check In

Anybody been to gary in the last few days? and know if their were any steel tarps to be had? I gave two up on a load i relayed off of me and marshfield had zero.

Had to use a lumber tarp on the 6 coils i picked up today that sucked.

 

Can't agree with you more about going from a 13 to a 07. That is what happened to me!

The ONLY downfall to starting now is of course winter. Now you could start now and bust your butt during winter to end up hating it or start when it's hot out and hate it....

Idk I love it. Not looking forward to dealing with frozen equipment. I just unloaded Logan aluminum coils and every one of my straps were like cardboard. They would not roll worth a crap and my tarp was frozen onto the product which sucked!!

But I'm getting the experience.. Maybe couple months of harder work might make it extremely easy for you afterwords. I do say this, I do not like working in the heat but I do love working in the cold. (38-45.. C'mon guys I'm from Florida!). Now 21 degrees suckedddddd!!!!!!!

 

I'm in Gary right now.

About the tarps.. Idk I haven't looked.

 

i have to fuel up there tomorrow morning. probley around 6 am ish depended on how screwed i get with traffic.

 

Gary is never hit or miss...

Atleast they have one thing in Gary! A awesome place to order Chinese food.. If you can get past the not understanding them part they are funny!

That guy walks up to me with my order and a new driver is standing next to me. Chinese guy was poking fun at the new driver and told him "he betta orda tomorrow or you get cut".. Jokingly of course.

Ohh that guy makes me laugh! He is always joking and in good spirits.

 

I love the selection of places to eat in that area. Can always find something good to eat for fairly cheap.

 

Yea I know that what I'm struggling with now I know I want to I'm thinking now bc I haven't gotten my real fm and haven't really settled in this truck you know.

Lantern man I have got to pick your brain about a few thing when ever we get the chance to meet lol one thing tho how long you drive before you decided to lease.

6 months from what drty said and cold weather ech I hate it ill take hot weather any day than cold weather. 60 degrees is too cold much less anything lower. And the Chinese I had in Gary was discusting. Maybe it's just me ive had way better or expect better. I didn't go to school or orientation in Gary but the Greek place was good and Buffalo Wild Wings there is good as well.
