Yeah they can be some long waits. Hopefully after they unload you don't have to wait another 3 hours for the inspector.

 

finaly got a load assigned, pick up in Devils lake Nd and Deliver in Burnsville mn. Now just sit and wait to drive to the site and get the load.

 

at ellenwood for a PM on the truck, at least the weather is nice

we DO deliver in NH! so far ive had 3-4 hour drives home after last delivery. hope they hook me up next hometime, thats a long unpaid ride in my book

Woke up at 8am on the shoulder and like i thought. No one anywhere near me and i look wierd. so i crawled into the rest area and went back to bed. have tried to sleep all day with waking up every hour or so. up for good now gonna get moving in a hour or so. I got 30 miles of state roadx in CT ahead of me so. no i Am not looking forward to it.

 

Think I may have chatted with you. Had your hard hat on? Loaded at North dock?

 

Sitting outside of Lacross, WI at exit 12. Two other Roehl trucks nearby. Nothing like wasting half you day sitting around because you only had 390 miles to do today and can't deliver until morning.

 

I haven't delivered in NH, but Maine and northeast MA several times.

 

i saw the one the new driver tipped over on 41 by the hammond inn in gary. 48,000 pounds of expensive food grade scrap aluminum, and a trailer that looked like part of a mobius strip.

 

Definitely scrap afterward if it wasn't before?
