Ok, so it goes like this. I work from home since my kids got kicked out of daycare. Then this company that is 1.2 miles from my house calls me up after a couple months of working from home and asks if I want to come and work for them, keep in mind I sent them a resume like 2 years ago and we met once. So I fill them in on my situation and say I'd love to work for them but at best it would have to be part time and I'd like to keep my other work from home job for the 2 year period that we agreed to.

So I figured they would just say no because they were looking for full time. They surprised me and said sure, we can make that work. So this week I'm learning ops, so I've been meeting drivers checking out the dairies learning how to pump milk, seeing where they deliver to, meeting the guy with the drop lot. Made for a long day left the house yesterday at 0400 and got back at 2300

Wow, I have to wait for mt at con, and they cancelled load I had then I have to go wait for 10 hr break I guess. FM told me to let her know when it ends to set up preplan.

Hey Bayle...I got sent home after I lost my wallet heading to Gary! Nice little surprise and my advice to all drivers is don't lost your wallet with CDL in it...

That's pretty nifty. Get to see what it's all about. Roehl does that to, my business partner is about to go out for a couple days to see how it is. He said he is pretty stoked.

Not to brag, but my •FM• ala business partner is awesome. Talking to other O/O and L/Os in the flatbed division he has been pretty decent with them to. Load wise... Could be better but he doesn't book them.

One thing I have a issue with is he allows loads he knows I don't want to come to the Qualcomm. Basically it is the planner giving me the first load available which is usually not so great.

Headed down i65, going to Rome GA for a delivery tonight.

Who's your business partner (FM)? I'll smack them upside the head on Friday and say it's from Treefork :)

Finally got an mt, another driver had come in and grabbed the one I dropped and I got his. I saw another Roehl bobtail coming in the gate. I think he is SOL. So I'm at the peelot I20 xt 112 LA I'm assuming at least until tomorrow. So if I post a lot I got bored picking my nose and have nothing better to do. I don't think this Pilot has a casino which is probably good. Otherwise Christmas might be slim Pickens. LOL

    Graymule:
Or did they just send you home until you get replacement? Plus DOT physical card too I'm not sure if you can use a copy that Roehl would have or not.

They are supposed to have a copy of your license and medical cards on file. In my case they had my temporary permit on file not my CDL, which put me out of service. I which case I freaked out and called my wife because they were going to send me home via bus or another driver. She suggested that I call the MN DOT (kiddos to her) and they were able to send ROEHL a letter of verification the showed I had a valid CDL. Safety than let me take a load to Tomah and dead head back to the Twin Cities...After talking to me FM it is best that they have an actual copy of your CDL, TWIC Card and any endorsements that you may have added. Which could affect you with the new pay plan. I am supposed to launch tomorrow and I am looking for a chain wallet!!!! Any good suggestions on where to get one?
