I'm in Gary. The reefer I got loaded near downtown cincy. It was a pain to say the least. Was planning on getting tire on the reefer fixed but they changed the relay to Gary. So checked in here dropped the trl, well tried too until my truck wouldn't unhook from it. After a maintenance guy helped me I parked. Another guy going for hometime is grabbing the load going up there. They wanted me to get a load tonight since I started my day late. One there's no empties and two I don't want to be stuck in NY not being able to unhook again. Told them I need a relay to a less busy terminal to get truck looked at. Here in Gary they have 4 bays and 2 techs now working with a waiting list of 18 trucks and no loaners.

Sounds like the same old Gary. There is no reason that place shouldn't have three shifts working. At the very least two ten hour shifts. I made the mistake of limping into Gary with a bad tire to help them out. It was on a Friday on my way home. I should have had a service truck come fix it at the shipper and been on my way. Instead I spent a whole day in Gary waiting for them to fix it while not getting paid because it was at a terminal.

keep a can of WD40 to spray onto the wedge mechanism whenever you can get to the fifth wheel. the clearances are tight on the new ones and just a little dust will keep them wedge from unlocking and pulling back.

I-55 xt 58 loves in MO. Plenty of parking. I had an old loves card from years ago and couldn't redeem anything though I was able to acquire points etc... So when I activated the new and got stuff transfered I got platinum status which is unlimited showers and drink refills. I assume its because of Roehl?

At the TA just north of Atlanta GA. Surprised to find a spot to. I circled it a couple times and when I rolled down the hill going towards the exit a prime truck left out of a front parking spot. After a crap day I guess that was just the perfect sign to pack it in. So I did and some how have managed to burn 5 hours of my 10 up...

Headed toward Romulus MI for a 4pm delivery. 660 miles left for tomorrow.. What fun..

    AT HOME!!!!

Lost a day getting the F,ing camera sitting in Marshfield. Not all bad, truck got realignment AGAIN and this one seems to be correct. Got two new steers! Truck got over to Midstate and no more check engine light.

Comments to others.... I spent 15 minutes trying to uncouple today. Had to take my winch bar and hammer on the locking mechanism (opposite side of handle has push pin of some sort. Banged on that and finally released while another driver was pulling on it.)

Marshfield has no trucks, think there are no extra trucks in the fleet period! So sitting in Gary behind all those trucks with no loaners, like that everywhere right now! Had a new driver sitting in Marshfield for two days waiting to be assigned a truck.
