Hi! On my 3rd week with Roehl. (Experienced driver) drove with Schneider for almost a year. Experienced by the means on Roehl anyways. But liking it so far. Got a 3500 mile week last week and a 3000 mile this week. Very impressed. Just hope I ain't getting these miles from being a new Roehl driver :( anyways, here at a Route 66 in laffeyette Indiana takin a load to iron mountain Michigan. :D ok bye!

Chains are not permitted on slinky loads; at least not at Charter.

For suicide load: Yes to coil racks on front and rear coils.

Picked up steel tubing in Harrow, ON this afternoon; delivering to Crest Hill, IL tomorrow morning. Such a stark contrast between today and the last time I went to that shipper. Last time it took forever to get loaded and I had to spend the night there. Today I was getting loaded within about 20 minutes of arrival.

This time I got smarter and fax'd the paperwork to the customs broker before tarping. By the time I was secure and tarped, the paperwork was complete.

The border crossings were easy except for the line of trucks coming back to the US - that alone took about 45 minutes.

No x-rays this time and very fast at both customs windows.

Now at the TA Ann Arbor, MI off I94.

Love's I-10 xt 262 Florida. Drove hard and pushed it. I had to stop here for fuel. But really tired just doing 10 and getting going. Trying to get this delivered to GP in Jax and get paperwork in before noon. Asked FM to route me to Ellenwood so I can get that "safety class". Plus I need supplies oil, washer fluid. Also want to change fuel filter. Just about do for a pm too.

At Ellenwood, had a major issue with the darn shipper where I finished EVERYTHING.. And they loaded the wrong wood!! Had fun undoing and redoing my stuff.
