Sitting at a loves 40 miles east of tx on I 20, stopped a little early today, picked up a steel king load last night that about killed me strapping and tarping. I was feeling everyone of my 50 years last night and most of the day today. Dropping in Dallas with about 3 hours left on my 70 so I am pretty sure I will be sitting the rest of the day.

I almost forgot, for all you people still up north, I am sitting here in a pair of shorts with all my windows open. Figured I would enjoy the weather before I head home for the holidays.

Of all the terminals i like Appleton, though i have only ever been to Marshfield, Gary, Phoenix, and Appleton. Just seems the mechanics get things done faster there. Saterday morning when i went to check on my truck they were just putting it back together.
the entire facility i like better. -
At the pilot at 1b on IA I80. Been under this load since Sat morning and it doesn't deliver until Tuesday 0900...So you guys that have been with Roehl for awhile tell me is it just because of the Holidays or can I expect to be sitting around with my thumb up my third point of contact like this all the time???

Wheres it going? How long was the load for? Is there a terminal to relay on the way or close by the con? My load I picked up today is for Tuesday 500 loaded miles. I drove 460-470 to Appleton close to my con in Wausau. Tomorrow looking for a relay instead of sitting. I do this quite often in different scenarios. Sometimes you'll have to get close and collect layover. Just depends. Rarely I sit on a load usually relay it off.sjtrucker Thanks this.

I've been sitting at the Flying J at exit 1 off I90 just south of my drop in Janesville WI in the AM.... Collecting 36 hours of layover and a 34 hour reset to boot. Sitting sucks but at least collect layover pay if you can.
-
I generally get luck and friday if i have a crappy run my fm tries to relay it off me before he leaves for the weekend and get me something better. But every now and than i get to sit and collect layover pay.

Well my blower motor went out again. This is fun
Perpetual Thanks this.
