I hope they read this thread. WI sucks I hate WI, the rudest people are WI and Yankee states. They actually don't think that one day someone will jump that barrier and beat the piss out of them in front of everyone. They talk to you like your below them when in all actuality either picking up or delivering a load that hey guess what it pays your check. Roehl reads the thread so what. You think that a company based in Marshfield would get a smidge of curtiousy around here. This state is more dead with frieght than FL. Bunch of cheeseheads that live in the middle of know where that lose touch of reality and other people around them. I used to love coming here now everywhere I go its some twat or douche behind the desk playing god with the paperwork holding you prisoner. At first I'd just bite my tongue and still be nice even if dealing with someone rude at shippers and con. Now I give it back.

Sorry Meltom no offense really I'm sure there is alot of good people in this state, I just rarely come across them.

I've always had pleasant dealings in WI at shippers, maybe it's flatbed shippers. ;)

Ouch! There are only two types of people in WI ######## and Drunks.

Just kidding, it's no different than any other state.

It was a rant a ##### and moan type post I know I'm sorry just had to get it off my chest. Maybe it's the bad apples of the trucking industry that ruin it for everyone then everyone gets the same interaction. And honestly Roehl should read this thread and others to get insight on how drivers feel. Not just a head honcho walk around getting bs answers about how they love working here in fear if they say the wrong thing they'll get fired. I'd tell the good and bad, maybe on my exit interview when I get enough time to run SE only. Ech...or tarp stretch.....

I have a short e-book called "The Trucking Truth" that mentioned most trucking companies have their dispatchers separated from the drivers by bulletproof glass and then the author reiterates that he is not joking.

I came close a week ago in MN. I mean I'm there for a load or delivering. Mostly shippers though. I'm not trying to come across rude or a ####### so I can get in and out as quick as possible. Some just think they can act a certain way like I won't leave or refuse to take their load. I try to stay happy and content while on the road away from my family. Not get yelled and snickered at like I'm their kid. I don't want to lose my job at all either but some have crossed that line too many times recently.

Honestly when i come across that. which is not often but it does happen. i dont get mad at them. i actually feel pitty for them. if there life or family life is so horrible the only pleasure they can get out of life is to hastle people trying to do there job i feel bad for them. If its a woman she may have daddy issues so she projects her horrible relationship on guys. or maybe her husband is a control freak and this is the only wau she has power. or if its a dude he was super popular in high school now he isnt #### and is gonna take it out on the world by delaying me 5 minutes with attitude. or maybe his wife is bat #### crazy and he needs to feel control. i dont know. i believe people are at there core good. but it takes bad things that they are unable to process in there mind to make them like that. so next time that person is giving u attitude for no reason. remeber they are baiting you into this power struggle becouse they can hold it over you for a moment. choose not to allow yourself not to engage in the power struggle and relize how pathetic they are and i guarntee it wont bother u and a bonus u may feel better about yourself.
