i was just out in spokane last week, was fairly nervous about it with that storm coming but i managed to time it well and was parked n sleeping during the snow.
dispatch asked if i had chains (cables) which i did from an earlier run to denver area. he said good, i told him i have them but have only a vague idea of how to use them. he said basically if ya need chains on, park. that meshed well with what other drivers told me.

Sitting in a lumber yard in KY. Was the only 1 truck ahead of me and I've been here 3 hours already. Delivers a whopping 160 miles away. Most of the employees went home, but I've been assured they didn't forget me...

Sitting in OK. headed for St Paul, I see I am not the only one that is not going to be home when due. They are supposed to be looking to relay off me and head me toward home. Nice light load, 1000+ miles at 7k on the deck. As far as office people reading these threads I know for a fact they do, I have been called by my screenname more than once at terminals.

Picked up 2 military vehicles as relay in Gary going to Baltimore. Not sure if this my going home load or not...
Now at the easternmost service plaza on the Ohio turnpike. -
Well looks like the one guy still working is pulling my order right now... Awesome.

By the way if any flatbedders need to load or deliver at Great Lakes (Atlas uses them for warehousing) in Chicago on Torrence be prepared for a confusing detour. The detour is fairly well marked but quite a few twists and turns to get through it. Also add ~10 min to your ETA.
