Surprised they can't get you something from Rumford Maine. A paper plant that always seems to have stuff to Wisconsin.

Nah, I lived in southern Cali for almost 4 years and had plenty of Jack, now had it been an In N Out burger; mandatory stop right there. I've noticed there is one in Dallas now, if ever in roetgp for some time might have to get a cab.

At the cons in Tully, NY. My appt was tomorrow at 0500 but they unloaded me as soon as I got here. I won't get my paperwork back until 0230 at the earilest. Oh well at least I will get some good sleep tonight because I don't a pre plan yet. I hope I don't have to go to that P&G warehouse outside Scranton. That is almost always a low mile run into the Northeast for me. On another note, I saw a Roehl flatbed waiting at Majestic Steel off 271. There were 3 or 4 trucks ahead of them. I wonder how long they had to wait to get loaded.

Have fun lol. Sorry to be a downer but u won't ever be heading home or near home til the day of or depending how far u are 2 days max. Since I live in fl I'm always in Wisconsin day n a half or so to be scheduled home. And if I'm close or in the southeast I get sent far away til that time comes. I've been 100 miles from the house and sent 900 miles away being scheduled 3 days for hometime. If you find yourself farting around doing short load one after the other in the NE then speak up for them to listen as you have. The planner there loves to say there's no freight and says he's trying to keep you moving by giving you way too much time for 200 mile loads. I've also been the day of scheduled for home did a drop hook a 100 miles away from home thinking hey ill get to go home after this. Nope, 7 hrs on my clock had to go to the same shipper and con twice to shuttle scrap paper loads then I have to ask with 3 hrs left to deadhead home. Sometimes it's better to rack up the miles before hitting the hometime as they can add up, just not where you are it's better to do that kinda stuff in the Midwest not NE

Sucks for you guys in Russellville, KY, the day after a holiday is the WORST there because they have to load double the trucks to get back on schedule.

I picked up in Wabash, IN this morning, headed to L'anse, got to Iron Mountain about an hour ago. How is it warmer here than when I left Indiana? lol

Finally loaded after 11 hours at Ghent. Picked up 8 coils, loaded shotgun. Short little suckers to. Only 20 inches wide and 5k lbs a piece. 3 steel tarps and I'm on my way to North Carolina.

Stopped at this Walmart to grab some food and have a place to use the bathroom. Completed a split sleeper to get up here. Now for a nice break then on the road again
