Just picked up GP in prosperity, SC. Heading to NC in the AM to turn my truck and this load over to another driver. Got my confirmation number for the bus, leaves at 1155 and ill get to Jacksonville about 1am Sunday morning

I'd say I'm a little heavy on the trailer

Nah, spread axle step deck. I didn't want any wood loaded on the upper deck so they loaded it all on the bottom and it turned out perfect

That's good to know. I got yelled at a couple months back because I picked up a steel plates on a step deck and loaded it all on the bottom then relayed it. Dispatch tried to tell me that I was only allowed 34000 on the trailer. I told them it was a spread axle but they kept insisting that I was wrong and that it being 37,xxx pounds on the trailer it was over.

I get the load and directions etc... Said no trailers over 10 years old. Checked and I got an '03. I didn't think much about it but on a whim sent in to my FM, and I was canceled for the load no newer trailers in the area either. So what, a week ago I would have been ok?

Yeah, and depends on state, RI, FL can go to 40k regular tandem which helps because of the stupid kingpin to axle length laws in those states.

Yup, that's why in Florida a lot of guys never scale (the ones that run intrastate) because as long as you're under gross, you're good
