Nah I run flat out most of the time and run cruise for brief periods of time. I get a mix of light and heavy loads, mostly light loads that I can get the bonus still. Also not alot of back to back mountain driving while heavy either. And I keep the fuel filter changed and oil at a good level.

    Lantern Thanks this.

Dead headed to ferdanina Bch fl near j-Ville to get a load. I asked my fm if I could grab earlier than 1400 yesterday he said no. Got to truck this morning to leave out their was a open window of 800-1400. So I arrive at 1330 and shipping decided to close early and their planner left earlier than that. They don't open til 500 and my load is due at 800 tomorrow. Lol. So went to Walmart got some stuff and they have a porta-potty so here I sit.

Deadheaded to Gary for a Vonore, TN load delivers Monday. Staying in Whiteland, IN for the night, it's dark and raining pretty hard and a shower is calling my name.

Ran into Lantern in Gary, of course we battled like two TTR.com personalities are required to do when they come face to face (there can be only one!) It was an epic battle, nearly leveled the entire square mile, ill call it a draw since we were both standing at the end. Until next time!

Sitting in a Red Roof Inn in Canton, OH....truck started sputtering down the road on the way to pick up in PA. International apparently has been having issues with bad cylinder heads and mine needs to be replaced....will be a few days at least they said. Hopefully getting a ride home tomorrow since I was supposed to be home Monday anyway and will get a ride back to pick up my truck when it's fixed.

Well, lets just say, I don't have a jacket. I guess I've never made my mpg, yet no one has ever said anything about it, so maybe I did and just never got the jacket. Hrmmm, a mystery.

I watch mine very closely. I was holding at 7.2 last month until they had me pulling a non aerodynamic van for my last trip out
