I wonder what maintenance told him. I know the trucks have auto shut offs so I wonder how he got heat.
-
Under certain temp it should idle anyway.
So I got preplan pick up just outside KC Kansas going to NH. Broker load, normally I would complain about having to deal directly with broker, but since its a pretty sweet weekend load I will keep mouth shut on that. -
Did rheol ever say anything more about getting into the intermodal buissness or were those just rumors

Find something to wedge the fuel pedal....run it over 1k rpm...it should work....also set your trailer brakes and release the tractor brakes....thats what I did when the battery APU quit working on my cascadia when I was there....
Your cascadia should have a battery powered APU....but if your heat quit working.....open your bunk so you can look underneath it...in the side box on the drivers side you will see a big piece of plastic (a cover) under that cover is a bank of fuses....if you can get to them check them..you may have blown one...I had that in a truck (7499) when it was new....and they never got my AC working either...it kept blowing compressors....but if its that cold the truck should be able to Idle cause of the temp sensor.... -
You can find the technical manuals and videos for the parksmart system here: http://us.bergstrominc.com/nite-oe-systems/
-
I forgot should just idle under 15 degrees.
