Always remember, if you have any thought about it being unsafe then get off the road because it is. And in this case I feel as though I made a good decision.

Yeah that cold from coming is going to be frigid, winds here in KC are pretty bad, not that bad though.
So it begins with the nagging. Broker already called me, "are you at shipper yet?" As I'm here getting loaded early. Appt was 17:30 and they called at 17:00 and had told me earlier to call when loaded. I know they get paranoid but isn't there a way can check with Roehl since they know where we are instead of bugging the driver? They already said they are going to call me over the weekend to check up.

 

Interstates open but I'm gonna keep it here for the night.

 

Saw a truck in the median on I-94 in WI last night. West bound somewhere after Black River Falls. He was on his side. Not sure when he went, but no police or anything around. Lights off. It was snowing this morning, around 4-5AM when I passed by. Always wonder what the driver was dong when that happened. Hope he/she was safe.

 

Picked up some big spools of wire in Abbeville, SC last night - bringing them to Gary for relay drop off then supposed to grab another load going back down for a 2-stopper in Georgia. Looks like they'll keep me rolling this weekend as opposed to last 2 weekends of reset/layover. Now at the BP t/s in Frankfort, IN.
