I just came across this on a H O Wolding thread. . "By the way - Herb Wolding is now 100 and the rumors say when he is gone the Company will be sold to Roehl and Marc Wolding opens up his own Freight Brokerage. Rumors ???" Hmmmmm, I wonder how true this is

Spent my last day off working on a froze up truck...still waiting on one more fuel filter to be delivered and than I should be good to go! I hope??

Heading out tomorrow. I got a decent launch load. Picking up a relay there in the yard and heading to Neenah, WI for a Thursday morning delivery. I will probably head to the old pirate ship tonight to bring it out of hibernation. I am on 14/7 but since I am now the only one left in the old rotation I asked my FM to stay out 21 days. She said it would be ok. So we will see how this goes mileage wise.

Stopped for night I-81 xt 213 VA, pilot. Was a fuel stop anyway and only an hour 15 left so shut it down. With heavy load, gross 78,500, and running through the northeast mountains my mileage sucks. Around 5.8 this trip so far. Should get better once in TN though. Looks like I will have to do the last 100 miles Thursday morning for the 08:00 appt. oh well can't be early all the time.

Glad I did stop when I did. There were tons of spots when I parked, within 2 hours this sucker filled up.

Bayle, DrtyDiesel and Bigdubber Thank this.

Well, it was sub zero last night and my bunk heater on full power 90 degree setting kept the bunk warm enough that I could still see my breath this morning. It was working, but has such poor circulation and no directional vent that we froze our butts off all night. Needless to say its about 3 degrees and we are idling. Don't are about idle %, I refuse to sleep cold.
JoeBigdubber Thanks this.
