Still home, have to check in later today, should be heading out on Monday morning. My vacation was way too short. It is good to see some jobs back on the home front, there might be home for getting off the road after all...

At the Ellenwood terminal where I ended up relaying my load. It delivers 22 miles away on the 3rd. I picked this up yesterday morning and was told it had a Saturday delivery appt of 0100. Then told last night that there was no appointment till the 3rd. Would I sit on the load until then? Sure if you pay me three days of layover pay. OH NO, we'll relay it in Ellenwood....LOL!
Have a 274 mile load to SC tomorrow morning and have the feeling that I won't have anything after that due to holiday and being in BFE. -
There is always paper in North Charleston at Kapstone for ya....a nice heavy paper load to pull over the mountains of WV LOL

Good point but I doubt they'll be open. Seems most of the loads since Christmas have been retail only according to my FM. The bulk of our manufacturing customers are closed till Tuesday.

Does anyone have a good guess as too how many customers Roehl services?

At a service plaza off the Indiana toll road about 50 miles from Gary, where I will probably be sitting until it is time to head for home on Monday.

Don't go to SC... It's a graveyard!!

I finally got a load out of there... of course I have to run 500 miles empty to pick it up, in Kentucky!
Sat all day with nothing, then turning on qualcom to check if anything came thru and this is what I got. Gonna have to school the young FM, qualcomm's shut down hourly. If you have a driver who has been sitting, please CALL HIM/HER! I could have had that load in the que for 45 minutes or more!! I only have a two hour window with where I need to go and when I need to be there. I'll make it, but every minute counts. Just saying!!
OH, and I am sitting in Pioneer, TN at the Pilot on I-75.
