LOL, sent in two messages throughout the day. Called twice and was on hold for EVER! This ain't my first rodeo!
While picking up my load today I ran into another driver and he sat for 3 hours before getting the same load that I did. He also deadheaded over 500 miles.
And I am now sitting at the J in Whiteland, IN. I guess this place is better than a rest stop.

At a service plaza on the Indiana toll road, east bound this time. I got a pre plan this afternoon to pick up a relay at the terminal going to Manor, PA that delivers on the 3rd. I decided to just head out, go into Austintown, OH tomorrow and wait out the storm that is supposed to plow through Ohio on Monday there.

At the TA in Austintown, OH. Man it is windy here!
-
Its comin! I'm up by the lake in erie pa and its blowing here too!
-
In Hotlanta...deliver tomorrow morning, already have preplan home...gonna take 2 or 3 days then I will head back out till I have my 2 weeks of army time(on the 17th) then out til march...maybe longer...

Still in Columbia, SC. Have a pick up tomorrow at 0800 about 25 miles away and then headed to NJ for a noon delivery on Tuesday. I hate Jersey but its miles!
Btw, if you ever have to stay in Columbia for more than your 10 hour break, I'm not sure I'd recommend the Flying J. The staff is nice and its clean but there is nothing around it here but a Hardees. I looked at walking downtown but after learning it would take about 1.5 hrs each way decided to stay put. -
Shutdown with another Roehl driver in cleburne TX. We drove from San Antonio TX today.

In Oak Creek, WI at the Pilot. Snowing like crazy outside and roads are getting a little crazy, or was that the two different drivers who thought they could hit their brakes in front of me for no reason? Well, one missed the cash toll exit and thought 35 mph with a 55mph semi behind was OK. Lucky I had no one next to me and could move over. The second was just before exit 322 when the "4 Wheeler" decided to just hit the breaks in front of me. Uhm,
idiot, its snowing and hitting your breaks is the worst thing you should be doing especially with a semi behind you. That one was a little scary as this beast with 3 coils on the back wasn't slowing down so quickly and I didn't feel like seeing if my ABS was working.
-
It is, but it makes it really hard when he has to leave again. He's heading to Brookville PA to pick up a load heading to Sparta WI for tomorrow.
-
Still sitting at home, they told me not much to do, and with the storm they would just rather leave me here. Who am I to argue??? Be careful out there.
