Dedicated account for the time being, not sure how long it will last. But soaking it up crazy miles and home every weekend.

But yeah its dedicated flatbed, only have to tarp maybe 1 or 2 loads a week. Depends on what item i am hauling.

but ussaly the tarping only consists of protecting the front from roadspray. But everynow and than i got to do a full tarp.

Being in Gretna, NE, I guess it's official I am no longer out west. Spent the better part of 2 weeks running up and down I-5 in CA, OR & WA. Hauled conduit, roofing shingles, rebar and the rooftop fan units that originally took me out there. Picked up a load of pressboard in Medford, OR (same company as the one in Adel, GA for those familiar) and am on my way to Des Moines, IA. Experienced all ranges of weather including sunshine & 70's as well as snow that was just short of requiring chain law. All in all a nice change of pace from the midwest slinky circuit, et. al.

If you have a cb, did you learn they use 17 on I-5 instead of 19?

    Bigdubber Thanks this.

I was told by a west coast flatbedder who runs there all the time that the correct convention in Oregon is to use channel 19 on I-5 and channel 17 on OR-58, US-97, etc... He said the reason is that the distance on the two routes is roughly equivalent between between Eugene, OR and Weed, CA and the channel differences are intended to avoid confusion.
